A long-forgotten design brought back to life and with technological improvements, the Field II is based on the elusive Rolex Oyster Army, Ref. 3139, that was issued in small numbers to the Allies during World War II, and for which production had stopped many decades ago.
This vintage design can now be enjoyed with a contemporary case size of 42mm and, with a workhorse Seiko mechanical movement and depth rating of 200m, in the toughest of environments. Alternating surface finishing, brushed and polished, brings wrist presence to new levels. Box-shaped crystal and case's rounded underside complete the vintage look. Super-LumiNova, X1 grade, provides the strongest afterglow possible.
